ReAccept Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ReAccept, provided under the REACCEPT publisher name (“ReAccept,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the ReAccept desktop application, mobile application, website, backend services, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).

By installing, accessing, or using ReAccept, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About ReAccept

ReAccept is an independent companion application designed to connect a user's mobile device with the user's own paired computer.

Depending on the features available to you, ReAccept may notify you about supported events and allow you to remotely request actions on your paired computer, including user-requested input used to respond to supported game events.

ReAccept is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Valve Corporation.

Dota 2, Steam, Valve, and their respective names, logos, and trademarks are the property of Valve Corporation and their respective owners.

2. Eligibility and responsibility

You may use ReAccept only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.

You are responsible for:

• the devices you connect to ReAccept;
• maintaining control over your paired devices;
• protecting pairing credentials, access tokens, and other authentication information;
• activity performed through your ReAccept installation or paired devices;
• ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws and third-party terms and policies.

You must not knowingly pair ReAccept with or control a computer or mobile device that you are not authorized to access.

3. License to use ReAccept

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use ReAccept for its intended purpose.

ReAccept is licensed, not sold. Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, all rights in ReAccept and its software, design, branding, services, and related materials are reserved by their respective owners. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ReAccept to:

• access or control a device without authorization;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, attack, or compromise the Service;
• bypass security, authentication, subscription, usage, or technical restrictions;
• abuse free usage limits through account, device, installation, or identity manipulation;
• use modified clients, scripts, bots, or other mechanisms to abuse the Service;
• distribute malware or engage in malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful activity;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your authorization to use a device;
• infringe another person's rights;
• bypass or interfere with anti-cheat or security systems;
• use the Service in violation of applicable law.

We may take reasonable technical measures to prevent abuse, protect users, enforce usage limits, and maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

5. Third-party services and games

ReAccept may interact with or depend on third-party software and services, including operating systems, network services, Steam, and Dota 2. Your use of those products is governed by the terms and policies of their respective providers.

ReAccept does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee that they will remain available, compatible, or unchanged. An update, policy change, outage, or technical modification may affect or prevent some ReAccept features from working.

6. Free features and usage limits

ReAccept may provide some features without charge and may apply usage, device, event, feature, or other limits to free access. The availability and limits of free features may change over time.

We may modify or discontinue free usage limits where reasonably necessary for operation, security, abuse prevention, or product development. Attempts to circumvent limits may result in restriction or suspension of access.

7. Paid features and subscriptions

Some ReAccept features may require a paid subscription. Before purchase, the applicable price, billing period, included features, and other material information are shown through the platform or payment provider handling the transaction. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, platform, or offer.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, subscriptions automatically renew for the applicable billing period until cancelled.

Google Play subscriptions

• Payment and billing are handled by Google Play.
• Management and cancellation are handled through your Google Play account.
• Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law or Google Play provides otherwise.
• Refunds are handled according to applicable law and Google Play policies.

Deleting ReAccept or uninstalling the application does not cancel an active subscription. Other payment methods, if offered, may have additional terms presented at purchase.

8. Changes to paid features

We may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue individual Service features. We will not intentionally represent a paid subscription as providing functionality known to be unavailable. Rights required by applicable law or the applicable payment platform remain unaffected.

9. Updates and compatibility

ReAccept may receive updates to add features, fix bugs, improve security, maintain compatibility, or change how the Service operates. Some updates may be required. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, operating-system version, network configuration, or future version of third-party software.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep ReAccept available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, infrastructure failures, network conditions, software errors, third-party outages, security incidents, or updates may interrupt the Service.

ReAccept does not guarantee that a notification, remote command, or match-related action will be delivered, received, or executed within a particular time. Do not rely on ReAccept as the sole means of performing a time-sensitive action.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where these Terms are materially violated, the Service is abused or used unlawfully, restrictions are intentionally circumvented, activity threatens the Service or users, fraud is suspected, or continued access creates a legal, security, or technical risk.

You may stop using ReAccept at any time. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through a third-party billing provider. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

12. Privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in the ReAccept Privacy Policy, which should be read with these Terms.

13. Disclaimer

ReAccept is provided subject to the separate ReAccept Disclaimer, which covers third-party services, compatibility, account-related risks, warranties, and limitations of liability.

Nothing in these Terms or the Disclaimer excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

14. Intellectual property

ReAccept software, backend services, website content, original graphics, design, documentation, branding, and other original materials are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, sell, redistribute, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative products from proprietary ReAccept materials.

References to third-party products, games, services, names, or trademarks identify compatibility or intended operation and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to ReAccept, legal requirements, security practices, payment arrangements, or Service functionality. The current version will be published with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.

16. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot legally be waived. A dispute should first be raised through ReAccept support so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally.

17. Severability

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature or purchase form the agreement governing your use of ReAccept.
